Brandon has been extremely busy in Europe with Randi's sold-out tour. Crowds have been large and enthusiastic. But he did have time to send off this missive and video:

Greetings, Jeff. It's late at night in Tallinn, Estonia, where Randi just lectured in the old city center at the Science Academy. The Academy is one of those glorious old estates meant to be lived in for generations, gilted walls disappearing beneath decades' worth of portraiture. (Didn't happen: A century after it was built, a bunch of scientists took it over.) This was a classier joint than we're used to, but Randi comported himself as well as you'd expect.

Better, actually, when you consider how the armed thugs at our second-to-last airport searched his luggage and stole his magic supplies. He lost about 30 minutes of his act in one swell foop, and didn't even realize it 'til we were madly throwing together his props in preparation for the lecture. He jazzed like mad and did well.

Tomorrow, before heading to our lecture in Tartu, we'll do some shopping to replace (most of) what was lost. Not to worry, friends Tartu, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Lund, Copenhagen, and Reykjavik; even Randi's backup plans have backup plans. It takes more than an overzealous security guard to knock him off his stride.

Two things to bear in mind:

1) Dates! I understand some of Randi's upcoming appearances aren't Googling as well as they might. So far, no problem -- our venues were full in Tallinn and Utrecht, and even a little too full in Helsinki. To make sure the trend continues, please let the curious know the following about our remaining itinerary...

Estonia
13 June, Dorpat Conference Center in Tartu, 6:00 p.m. Free!

Sweden
15 June, Oskar Klein Auditorium in Stockholm, 7:00 p.m. I think it's free, but it's hard to tell -- the ads are all in Swedish.
16 June, Chalmers Konferens Runan in Gothenburg, 7:00 p.m. Prob free, but Swedish ads. (Curious Swedes should take a gander at the page.)
17 June, Palaestra et Odeum at Lund University in Lund, 7:00 p.m. If the previous are free, this one probably is, too. (Though by all means have people check first.)

Denmark
18 - 20 June, Gods and Politics -- The European Atheists' conference at the Royal Danish Library, in Copenhagen. Randi speaks on the third day of the conference. Also appearing are Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, and lots lots more. Visit website for full pricing information.
22 June, Tycho Brahe Planetarium in Copenhagen, 7:00 p.m. Price: 130, kr.

Iceland
24 June, University of Iceland in Reykjavik, 8:00 p.m. Probably free -- nothing on the advert looks like a price.

I hope the links prove helpful. And note that these are not necessarily the webpages of the named locations. That last one, for example, is actually a link to Sidmennt -- one of the two organizations, along with Vantruar, who are hosting us in that country. So click around. You never know what you'll find.

Second thing for folks to bear in mind is...

2) Videos! I am shooting road movies and uploading them to the JREF's YouTube page when I get the chance. Feel free to post em.

Thanks! Hope life is awesome back in the States...
