The James Randi Educational Foundation has always placed education at the core of its mission to promote critical thinking and provide the public with the tools needed to reliably examine paranormal, supernatural, and pseudoscientific claims. Grants for Educators
In its continuing effort to provide needed assistance to teachers and other educators, The James Randi Educational Foundation is proud to offer grants for educators. These grants are intended to help offset the cost of developing or improving critical thinking and scientific skepticism programs in the classroom and beyond. The grants will be awarded to educators of grades K-12 and at the university level to help improve the education of their students, school and/or community in the methods of science and critical thinking through the examination of the paranormal and pseudoscience.

Regional Workshops
Regional workshops from The James Randi Educational Foundation give participants the opportunity to explore topics related to skepticism, pseudoscience, and the paranormal through a comprehensive hands-on approach. Expert presenters lead the half-day workshops offered in cities across the country, often in collaboration with local skeptics groups.
Topics include Divination with Dowsing Rods and Pendulums, The Psychic's Tools of the Trade, and Skepticism 101. Registration for regional workshops is free for members of the James Randi Educational Foundation.

Classroom Modules
JREF Classroom modules are free (usually downloadable) and offer lessons that address areas scientific skepticism, and critical thinking through investigations of paranormal, pseudoscientific, and fringe claims. The activities will be fun, easy to introduce, tailored to one or two class periods, address national educational standards and benchmarks, and offer supplemental resources and media through our website.
Video Library
In an effort to make our extensive video library available online free of charge, The James Randi Educational Foundation is posting high quality digital video lectures and sessions from previous Amaz!ng Meetings and other events on randi.org. Mobile Apps
The JREF is developing a series of mobile apps for the iOS and Android platforms. These apps will bring skepticism to new tech-savy audiences through fun, informative, and media-rich experiences on the most popular mobile devices. The first of these apps is available now. SkepDay: Today in Skeptic History is an interactive calendar of historical events relating to both the modern skeptics movement as well as the supernatural, paranormal, and fringe science claims that the skeptics’ movement challenges.
Scholarships
The James Randi Educational Foundation offers two $1000 scholarships each September. Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students with a demonstrated record of activism in skepticism and whose career goals align with the mission of JREF. The deadline for application is July 30.

Digital Publishing
The JREF is working to bring the mission and message of skepticism to a wider audience through the publication of important classic and modern works of skepticism and critical thinking for popular e-reading platforms. Current titles include Flim-Flam!, The Faith Healers, and The Truth About Uri Geller, all by James Randi, with several aditional titles to be available very soon.
Research Fellowships
The James Randi Educational Foundation awards research fellowships to support the work of researchers investigating various aspects pseudoscience, and the paranormal. Fellows conduct original works and scholarship for the foundation in addition to writing for the Swift blog.
